Create a unit plan in your subject area using two different formats. Your plan should be appropriate for diverse secondary classrooms, utilize higher order thinking skills, invoke critical thinking, incorporate student prior knowledge, multiple intelligences, and diverse content, incorporate alternative assessment, and satisfy several NJCCCS. Unit plans should include an introduction with a discussion of the rationale and unit organization, comprise of at least three lessons, and highlight at least three different teaching strategies.
Phase 1: Project Proposal
Your project needs to focus on integrating media literacy and/ or media production into the curriculum. Please add state and national standards.

Include the following items in your Proposal.

Tentative title/ theme
Goals/ Objectives; Be as specific as possible.
Rationale : (Why you picked this topic? How will it improve your teaching/ parenting, etc?
Medium (Which form you will create your project. Livetext, website, URL address, Videotape, Burned CD, file attachment, in the mail, etc.)
Target Audience
Lesson ideas or lesson plans that you searched in this topic. For instance, provide URL links.
Teaching Strategies and Methods:
Evaluation Methods: Assessment strategies: How will you assess your students outcome?
Resources/ Credits: the print material, electronic resources, websites you already found.

Phase 2: Send a draft (if needed)
Phase 3: Post your project here and ALSO on discussion board> final project area to share with the rest of the class. Make sure to include a min two pages process paper and resources used with primary and secondary resources (APA style).
Phase 4: Select one of the projects posted on bb and provide feedback. Post your response here as well.
Make sure you give credit for each website, picture, etc. You must use APA style.
